Linden MacIntyre, Michael Crummey, and some Independent Nova Scotian Bookstores All Recognized by This Year’s CBA Libris Awards

The Canadian Booksellers Association doles out several wide-ranging, all-inclusive awards each year, recognizing not only books and authors, but people in the industry as well: editors, publicists, booksellers. Fiction Book of the Year Shortlist: Michael Crummey’s Galore, Linden MacIntyre’s The Bishop’s Man, and Annabel Lyon’s The Golden Mean.

Author of the Year: Linden MacIintyre, Alice Munro, Annabel Lyon.

Also: Congrats to Halifax’s The Bookmark II, up for bookseller of the year, and Woozles Ltd., up for specialty bookseller of the year.
